Rick Ross Admits to Having a Hard Time NOT Focusing on Food While Making “Cake” Remix

Monday April 14—Rapper Rick Ross released his official video remix to “Cake”; Which was originally recorded by songstress Rihanna along with her long time sparring partner Chris Brown.

Although the song’s reference to “cake” throughout the chorus is a sexual play of words rapper Rick Ross said he had a hard time not thinking about food during the process of writing lyrics and recording the song.

Ross had the following to say:

“During the recording of the chorus where she repeats the word “Cake” multiple times I damn near lost it.”

Maybach Music engineer says this isn’t the first and probably not the last time Ross has had trouble during the recording process due to food complications:

“We damn near didn’t finish recording the song due to Ross taking several breaks throughout the recording process to snack on twinkies and other random candies.

This n*gga stomach growls too damn much.”
